Obituary

Mrs. Willie Eugenia Hamilton, age 102, passed away on December 18, 2017 at NHC Lewisburg, in Lewisburg, Tennessee.

Willie was born on June 30, 1915 in Tuscaloosa, AL to William and Ruth Huddelstone Woodard. She was one of six children born to the couple. She graduated from Sewanee in 1935 and later earned her LPN designation in 1964. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1938 and remained faithful until her death. She was the widow of Joseph Hamilton.

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her sister: Sena Colleen Goodwin of Lewisburg, TN and nephew: Kenny Woodard of Nashville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Isaiah, Phil, Joe and Lewis Woodard.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1038 War Eagle Drive, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091.
