William “Bill” Vincent Papaik

William “Bill” Vincent Papaik

William “Bill” V. Papaik, age 89, of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully at his son’s residence on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Bill was also a successful businessman and real estate developer.

Bill was born November 24, 1933, in Eveleth, Minnesota to the late John and Fern Papaik. He married Gail (Dawson) Papaik in August of 1977. She survives along with her daughter, Melissa Buisson, son-in-law, Robert (Bobby) Buisson, and son, Jon Papaik.

Those left to cherish his memory are his four sons: Steven “Steve” Papaik of Kendallville, IN, William “Bill” Papaik of Ft. Wayne, IN, Thomas “Thom” Papaik of Angola, IN, Christian “Chris’ Papaik; a daughter: Michelle Adkins; a sister: Audrey Johnson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, February 26, 2023, starting at 2:00 PM at Our Savior Lutheran Church located at 5110 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN. To follow, the memorial service will commence at 3:00 PM, the USAF will render military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Bill may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church – Room in The Inn (RITI).

The family is planning a Celebration of Life in the Spring or early Summer in Indiana.
