Wayne Clark Ginn

Wayne Clark Ginn, born September 03, 1948, was born in Memphis, TN; the son of Herbert C. Ginn and Virginia H. Ransom. He later resided in Tampa, FL, Las Vegas, NV, and Hermitage, TN where he departed this life in his home on Saturday, February 15, 2025. 

Wayne was known for his exceptional skills as a salesman, his passion for golf, his love of cars, and his enthusiasm in telling a good story. He is survived by his son, Derek H. Ginn (Genny) of Jackson, MS; his daughter, Shannon G. Persell (Wes) of Arlington, TN; four grandchildren (Hazel Ginn, Miller Ginn, Parker Persell and Miles Persell); and his sister, Dixie Waters of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at one of Wayne’s favorite places, Greers Ferry Lake, at a later date.
