Tonia Lee Morrison was born in Steubenville, Ohio on November 17th, 1950, to Richard and Evelyn Morrison, nee Smith. Eventually, the Morrisons settled in Longwood, Florida. Tonia was raised there alongside her two younger sisters, D.J and Tricia. Early on, Tonia developed a love of music, becoming a talented singer and going on to perform in high school bands. This was the beginning of a music career that lasted into the 1970s.

Tonia was a meticulous homemaker and wonderful cook; she loved to experiment with new cuisines and would prepare incredible holiday feasts.

Tonia was an intensely spiritual person and had an insatiable curiosity regarding spiritual doctrines, both old and new. A constant seeker, Tonia was driven by grand ideas and had a love of nature, gardening, and self-sufficiency, eventually turning her hand to homesteading.

Tonia passed away on June 16th, 2026, at the age of 75. She is survived by her sons, Joshua and Michael, as well as her two sisters. May she rest in peace.
