Suzanne M. Whitman, age 89 of Nashviille, died July 3, 2013. Born January 1, 1924 in Chicago to Loyd E. and Bertha Whitman. Suzanne graduated from the University of Michigan, School of Grapic Design. She was an artist who worked in over 20 different mediums but was particularly fond of drawing, sculpting and painting. Suzanne was an animal lover, a lifetime member of the Clan MacPherson, loved the Smoky Mountains and attended art classes at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, well into her 80’s. She leaves behind 3 children; Lauren Keinath, Mark Buell and Sharon Winkler, 4 grandchildren; Robin Winkler, Sara Keinath, Adam Keinath and Graham Buell; and 2 great grandchildren, Zachary and Jackson Keinath. A Memorial Celebration will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Belmont Village in Greenhills in the 2nd Floor Town Hall.
