Susan Amanda Roenbeck

Susan Amanda Roenbeck, age 80, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born in New York, Susan later made her home in Coconut Creek, Florida, before settling in Spring Hill, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Roenbeck, with whom she shared many cherished years.

Susan is lovingly remembered by her daughters Tara (Jon) Vestrheim and Elaine (Tony) Scara, her stepson Bobby Roenbeck, her brother David Russo, and her many grandchildren, each of whom brought her deep joy and pride. Her devoted dog, Duke, remains a faithful reminder of her lifelong love for animals, especially her many fur babies over the years.

A talented and creative spirit, Susan studied at a design college and had a gifted hand in fashion design. Her love for artistic expression extended beyond clothing — she found joy in drawing animals, and her home reflected the warmth of her imagination. Susan was also an avid reader with an impressive library that reflected her curious and thoughtful nature.

While she had many talents, Susan’s heart was most at home in her role as a homemaker. She loved her family deeply and found her greatest contentment in the simple joys of home, family, and the companionship of her pets.

Susan's memory will be held close by all who knew and loved her. Her gentle spirit, creative heart, and deep devotion to her family will be dearly missed.
