Obituary
Priscilla Sue Creech Rink Hudgins was born on July 27, 1941 in Nashville, TN. She was the daughter of Marvin and Lula Mae Hudgins. Their eight children included: Ann Thompson, Mildred Gillette, Pat Keith deceased; Sheila Turner, Lester Hudgins, Bobby Hudgins, and Ronnie Hudgins. She is also survived by her children: Anita J. Curtis of Bon Aqua, TN and son: Mikell W. Creech of Delevan, NY. She loved music and entertained with her dear friend, and sister in Christ, Nona Marie Stacey, for most of the 1970’s. They were first called Nona and Sue, the Gospel Two. They ventured into Country Music as THE BLUEBELLES, entertaining with greats such as Willie Nelson, Emmy Lou Harris, Dotsy, and many, many others. She and Nona shared not only the music industry, but later invested in the wholesale floral industry, and maintained their Wholesale Silk Florist from the late 70’s through the early 90’s. It was called BLUEBELLE WHOLESALE. They later opened BlueBelle Flowers and Gifts in Fairview, TN. Nona Stacey is considered not only a dear friend, but God-Grandmother to Sue’s grandchildren: Missouri Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, and Dalton Johnson. Besides God, Sue’s grandchildren were the love of her life, and provided her with her desire to live. She was a loving, talented, God-fearing woman, who loved life and people. She not only has left her mark here on earth, but a great effect on all the lives that God has placed in her path. Her daughter, son, and Nona, would like to show special appreciation to all who showered prayers and the unbelievable amount of cards, and special words on her, and for the efforts that were made by many to assist and be part of her life, especially in the last year, and final moments. She looked forward to her mailbox visits who know who you all are!. Remember her when, Remember her then, and remember that you were a great part of the life of Sue Hudgins Creech. She loved you all. Blessings to you all.

My Aunt Rink was a remarkably strong woman who always greeted me with a “Hey Babe” and a big hug. During a recent visit to the hospital, I received those familiar words for the last time. Aunt Rink lived life to the fullest. She was always smiling and laughing. Little things, like the hand picked hilarious cards sent for special occasions will be missed. That mischievous smile and laugh will be missed. Her dedication and love for her family will be missed! That strength that she showed even to the very end, as she fought so hard against cancer is evident in both Mikell & Anita. I love you both! Your strength will help you get through this difficult time. Thank you Nona for being such a loving and supportive friend to Aunt Rink. I love you, and you will all remain in my thoughts and prayers!

27 years ago and one afternoon I walked into Bluebelles and was greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome of “HELLO COME RIGHT IN” from a friendly 5 foot lady everyone called “RINK”. I commeted on such a beautiful shop, and that I missed working in the flower industry. Sue immediately ask Nona to get a rose vase and ask me to make a doz roses.. So I did,Sue smiled and said to Nona “And she is fast too”! Want to work for us?” That started a wonderful time in my life that gave me the love of community in what we “call home” I have so many GREAT memories of that little shop, standing room only every christmas open house with everyone joining in beautiful christmas carols but Bluebells was just a block building. What gave it LIFE to our city was Nona & Sue. May God bless the special memories we all share of a wonderful life lived so unselfishly that served and gave joy to everyone Sue’s life touched. My love and condolences to the family and friends♥

We were great friends thru Elementary & High School, Sports together, etc. We spent much time with each other, and always kept in touch. When she and Nona came back to Fairview and opened BlueBelles my Mom would go there just to talk with them. Rink always called her MA. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends as they have been during her illness.

Anita and family. My wife Helen and I wanted to send this note to say your family is in our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss. Meeting Anita and the boys was a great pleasure to me. I feel we could be good friends. Since your mother Miss Sue and Grandmother raised and influenced you, taught you how to be good Christian people, she must have been very special indeed; I miss out my not getting to know her personally. I will keep your mother, you Anita and your family in my prayers. I know the lord has welcomed Miss Sue Creech with open arms. She is happy now and at piece. She awaits you when your time comes to go home and will be there to greet you. May God continue to bless you, your mother and your family forever! Lee & Helen Cannefax
