Shawn Lee Passwaters

Mr. Shawn Lee Passwaters, age 45, of Nashville, passed away on Friday, November 8, at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Shawn was born February 20, 1968 in Wilmington, CA, the son of Doris L. Hoopingarner Dodson of Nashville and the late Lester Lee Bird. He was the husband of Ernestine “Ernie” Lane Passwaters of Nashville. Shawn served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was in administration in the insurance industry. Shawn enjoyed spending as much time as was possible with his son playing disc golf, bowling and tennis. Shawn was an avid reader and was a Christian. Shawn is not only survived by his mother and wife, but their son, Christian L. Passwaters of Nashville; his siblings, Richard Kuhlmann, Lena Kuhlmann, Wanda Kuhlmann, Doris Olsen, Naomi Passwaters and Omica Beckner. Shawn’s family will celebrate his life privately.
