I never knew of Sanna Eubanks as anyone other than my loved grandmother. It was clear that she had a great connection with everyone she met and came into contact with. To one, she was wife, to many, she was mother and to more, she was friend. But to me, she will always be a loving grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Even though she had never met me, Sanna accepted me into the family immediately because Jim had chosen me. More than anything else, she wanted her children to be happy. Throughout the 25 plus years that I knew her, she always treated me with love and kindness. Sanna was also the best grandmother any child could wish for. She was so proud of each and everyone of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also gave unconditional love to all of us. Family meant everything to her. One of her greatest attributes was her generosity. I know for a fact that she often did without in order to help one of her children. She did this willingly and with love. Sanna is a part of me now and always will be. I love her and know that even if we cannot see her in the physical, her spirit is always with us.

I am very thankful I got the chance to talk to you that day. I always enjoyed our talks, and it is difficult knowing that if I call, you will not answer. However, it eases my heart to know that you are no longer in pain. It will not be the same without you when I visit “the compound.” I hope you are at peace and I hope they have Solitaire in heaven. : I love you grandma and I miss you. But I know you are my guardian angel now.

You are the best mother anyone could have hoped for. Your love and guidance has helped me to understand the meaning of life. You have always been there for me and you have always put others needs before yours. Mere words cannot express how I feel about the void your passing has created in my life. The memory of you and your love will assist me as I continue this journey in my life and comfort me with the knowledge I will see you again in Heaven.
