Samuel M. Humphrey

Samuel M. Humphrey was born January 30, 1936 in McClain County, Kentucky, the son of the late guy Samuel Humphrey and Henrietta Cabbage Humphrey. He was married for 55 years to Norma Ingle Humphrey of Dover, TN. Sam served for 21 years in the United States Air Force and later worked as an instrument technician for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Sam passed away on November 13, at his home overlooking the river in Dover, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Survivors in addition to Norma include their son, Greg and his wife Betty Humphrey of Dover; two grandchildren, Brooke Humphrey and Hunter Humphrey; three sisters, Renetta Hardcastle, Marybelle Clark and Jennie Rea Lovan and one brother, Jackie Lee Humphrey. Memorial services for Sam will be conducted Monday, November 26, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
