Obituary
Mr. Raymond Grady Hand, 66, resident of Columbia Ave. in Nashville, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011 at his residence. Born in Nashville, TN on June 27, 1945 and was the son of the late William Hardin and Lela Estelle DeMoss Hand. Raymond was the husband of Norma Marie Smith Hand of Nashville. He was a retired Deputy Fire Marshall with the Metro Fire Department. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Randy Bobbie Hand, Ray Hand and Rhonda Westover; siblings, Eddie Clara Hand, Lonnie Joyce Hand, Arthur Hand, Patsy Arthur Luna, Peggy Jimmy Hayes and Deanie Sherman Kinnard; and grandchildren, Brad Brittany Hand, Randy Hand, Jr., Seth Westover, Moriah Hand and Aaron Hand. The Hand Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21 from 1-5 PM and on Monday, August 22 from 11 AM-5PM at Barth Vernon United Methodist Church, 6200 Robertson Ave. in Nashville. Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family with the arrangements.
