Patsy H.
Drake
Aug 24, 1944 — Oct 16, 2026
Spring Hill, Tennessee
Patsy Hickman Drake, lovingly known as “Pat” to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 82.
Born on August 24, 1944, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Pat lived a life centered on family, faith, and the joy of being surrounded by others. Throughout her life, she called several places home, making friendships and memories along the way. She worked as a secretary in public school systems and colleges, where she enjoyed connecting with people and helping others. Following retirement, she enjoyed a quieter pace of life in Tennessee and was a member of First Baptist Church in Spring Hill.
Pat loved being around people and had a wonderful sense of humor. She had a knack for making a witty remark or sharing a joke, often laughing at her own humor as much as anyone else. Her warmth, laughter, and enjoyment of good company made time spent with her special.
Above all, family was the heart of Pat's life. A devoted mother and grandmother, she treasured time spent together, whether celebrating milestones or simply enjoying one another's company. Her love, laughter, and the memories they shared will forever be cherished by those closest to her.
Pat is survived by her three beloved children: Tim (Michelle) Drake, Laura (Robyn) Bailey, and Brad (Kristie) Drake; and her cherished grandchildren: Matthew, Jonathan, and Stephen Drake; Regan (Bre), Reese, Reed, Robby, Ryder, and Richey Bailey; Shala Vinson and Sasha Hutt.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Drake.
Pat will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at Asbury Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee, where Pat will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Larry.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee, in gratitude for the compassionate care provided to Pat.
Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.cremationsocietyoftennessee.com.
