Obituary
Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pat” Meyer, age 70 of Nashville, left this life Saturday, May 7 in Baptist Hospital. Pat was a native Nashvillian and daughter of the late Al and Carlene Woodward Inman. She was Director of Human Resources department at Word Industries. Pat’s love for the Lord was a blessing and encouragement to all who knew her. Although her accomplishments were many, what she was most proud of was her family and her walk with the Lord. She is survived by her husband: Thomas R. Meyer of Nashville; three daughters: Judy Allen Johnson of Nashville, Leslie Gus Grote of Nashville, and Lisa John Holzapfel of Franklin; two sister: Carol Helton and Susan Whitman, both of Nashville; and six grandchildren: Camille Grote, Elizabeth Grote, Carl Grote, Caroline Holzapfel, John Michael Holzapfel, and Ellie Holzapfel. The family will honor Pat’s life at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 11 with a celebration at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland St. They will visit with friends from 11:30 AM until the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pat’s memory to the Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.

Pat was so good at her job; she was a great listener and I was blessed by her during my time at Word. When I was laid off she gave me a lead which ended up being my next job. She was always making sure the people at Word were taken care of.
