Oscar Nelson Goins, Jr.

Oscar Nelson Goins, Jr. age 78, passed away on April 26, 2017 at his residence following an illness.

Oscar was born on February 1, 1939 in Monroe, Michigan to Oscar Nelson Goins, Sr. and Harriet Robinson Goins. He was married for forty-three years to Elizabeth Arlene Biggers Goins and was a loving husband. He was a good provider and an all around great guy. He was a hard worker, being a welder for most of his career.

Survivors include his loving wife: Elizabeth Goins of Puryear, Tennessee; children: Ricky Goins and Louise Goins:” siblings: Brenda Manzanares of Paris, Tennessee and Esther Mullins of California; several nieces and nephews; and 4 grandchildren.

The family will celebrate Oscar’s life at a later date.
