Obituary
Nancy Dianne Sowell, age 63, of Michie, Tennessee in Hardin County, passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
Dianne was born in McNairy County, Tennessee to Bryson Meek and Mary Alice Layton Meek. She was married to Willis Tim Sowell who passed away in 2006, and they had two children together. She was a loving wife and mother and was a nice person. In addition to being a homemaker, earlier in life, Dianne worked for a clothing manufacturer. She loved going to church and was of the Church of Christ faith. She also loved watching wrestling whenever she got the chance, especially with her children, Timmy and Christy.
She is survived by her brothers: Kenneth (Linda) Meek and Travis (Shirley) Meek; sisters-in-law: Carolyn (Ray) Wood and Lynn Hill; brother-in-law: Wayne Sowell; nieces: Carrie and Candice Meek and several other nieces, nephews and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bryson Meek and Mary Alice Layton Meek; and her husband: Willis Tim Sowell. Her children Timmy and Christy Sowell also passed away of injuries sustained in the automobile accident on December 8, 2015.
The family will celebrate Dianne’s life at a later date.
