Mrs. Mildred Hydorn, age 91 of Thompsons Station, TN, died Tuesday, July 27 at the residence of her daughter. She was a native of Woodbine, GA, and daughter of the late William and Ida Mae Joyner Wise. She was a homemaker, cook, and member of the Baptist church. Mrs. Hydorn was the widow of Loy Harold Hydorn, and had lived in Orlando from 1944 until 2001. Mrs. Hydorn is survived by her daughter: Beverly Jean John Malloy; and two grand-daughters: Melissa Malloy French and Sondra M. Schionning, all of Thompsons Station, TN, and three great-grandchildren: Sydney French, Loy Schionning, and Nicholas Schionning. The family will conduct private services with burial in Orlando at a later date.

  1. I’m so sorry about your Mom but she had some good times as we all did. She’s resting peacefully in heaven.

  2. We are sorry to hear of your loss. Mildred was an active member of Ladies Aid while in FL and continued to communicate after moving to TN, she will be greatly missed.

  3. Sorry to hear of your loss. My younger sister and I used to play canasta with you when you lived on Dean Road. A fond memory of that time is the ice cream your Dad used to bring home from T.G.Lee. Also used to see you and your girls at Union Park Little League. Your Mom was a true definition of what a Mother is supposed to be, along with my Mom, who is gone also.
