Mary Ella Gotto

Mrs. Mary Ella Jordan Gotto, age 93, passed away Sunday, March 13 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Ouida and Buzz Arledge, where she had lived since Nov 3. Among her survivors are two children: Ouida Buzz Arledge of Brentwood, TN and Wayne Gotto of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren: Ashleigh Arledge Day of Brentwood, TN, Rayne Arledge and Marshall Arledge both of Nolensville, TN; two brothers: J C Jordan of Camden, SC and Dr. Don Jordan of Columbia, SC; and a sister: Rosalee Marturano of Camden, SC; and two great-grandchildren: Ansley and Lakely Arledge. In the morning hours of this past Christmas Day, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Gotto, whom she had married in 1944, and with whom she will be laid to rest on Friday, March 17 in the Quaker Cemetery in Camden, SC at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Bruce Hancock. They will receive friends priot at the Kornegay Funeral Home in Camden.
