Mary Butler Porter

Mary Porter, age 67, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born May 9, 1945 in South Bend, IN, the daughter of the late George Butler and Janet Jacobi Butler. She was the wife of Vernon Porter of Murfreesboro. Mary spent her time as a homemaker, caring for her family. Survivors in addition to Vernon include their children, Joseph Porter of Spring Hill, TN, Melinda Porter of Commerce Township, MI and Evie Deaton of Murfreesboro along with 4 grandchildren. A memorial service for Mary will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday at the Christian Life Church, located at 745 Cason Lane, Murfreesboro, TN.
