Mark Armstrong

Mark Armstrong, age 64, of McMinnville, passed away on Saturday, August 29, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, following an extended illness.

Mark was born April 10, 1956, in Kewanee IL, the son of the late Leslie Armstrong and Ruth McNaught Armstrong. Mark was a truck driver, having driven a number of years for Tribe Express out of Gainesville, GA. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed working on vehicles and spending time gambling, but his passion in life was the time spent with his family.

Mark is survived by his wife, Kelly Wirth Armstrong of McMinnville; his children, April (Brian) Armstrong Kiemaier, Eric Haywood, and Nicholas (Tosha Wescott) Armstrong, all of McMinnville; one brother Harvey Armstrong of Kewanee, IL and one sister, Marilyn Stewart of Windsor, CO; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mark’s family will celebrate his life and a later date.
