Madge Florida Patton passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 83.

Madge shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, William H. Patton. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was at the heart of her life.

Madge had a deep appreciation for animals and the beauty of nature in all its forms. She also had a creative spirit, finding joy and fulfillment through her artistic talents over the years. She was a member of Gladeville Church of Christ.

Madge leaves behind her loving husband, William H. Patton; daughters, Carol Anne Hayes (Jack) and Julie Lynn McKee (Chad); grandchildren, Kayla and Chaden; and great-grandchildren, Skylar, Kendall, and Bransen Childs. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Vance (Tom) and Susan McMahon (Jon); niece, Ashley; nephew, Andrew; and many beloved cousins.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Karen Kay Wilson, and her parents, Earl Lindsey Florida, Jr. and Emily Dill Florida.

A memorial service honoring Madge's life will be held at Gladeville Church of Christ, 1435 Gladeville Road, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee 37122, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Madge's memory to consider a memorial contribution to Gladeville Church of Christ in support of youth education, Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, 765 Nonaville Road, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee 37122, or a charitable organization close to their heart.
