Lynda Mae Cotham

Lynda Mae Cotham, age 54 of North Oak Street in Hohenwald, died Thursday, March 17 at her residence. A native of Lobelville, she was the daughter of the late Clopton and Alice Kilpatrick Cotham. Lynda graduated from Perry County High School and had worked as a cook and nursing aide. She loved music and often played her guitar. Lynda was also a member of the Pentecostal Sanctuary in Hohenwald. Lynda is survived by a son: Scotty Jennifer Rhodes of Huntingdon, TN; daughter: Jeana Smarsh of Adamsville, TN; four brothers: Jimmy Cotham of Linden, Wayne Cotham of Nashville, Thomas Cotham of Savannah, and Michael Cotham of Parsons; a sister: Sheila Barnes of Linden; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Teresa, Tommie Lou, and Wanda Cotham. The family will celebrate Lynda’s life in a private service this week.
