Obituary
Mr. Lowell Dean Clevenger, Sr, age 64 of Columbia, TN, died Friday afternoon, June 11, 2010 in the Alvin C. York Medical Center of the VA Medical System in Murfreesboro, TN. Dean was born in Hartford City, IN, but raised in Eaton, IN, and was the son of the late John and Lucille Frye Clevenger. He was an electrician and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Lukes Methodist Church in Columbia, and a member of Lodge 31 F&AM in Columbia, TN and Anthony Lodge No. 171, F&AM in Albany, IN. He is survived by his wife of 10 years: Janice Clevenger of Columbia, TN; three 3 brothers: Arnold Clevenger of Albany, IN, Jack Clevenger of Muncie, IN, and Don Clevenger of Strawberry Point, IA; a sister: Doloris Arbogast of Albandy, IN; two 2 children: Lowell Clevenger, Jr. and Phyllis Clevenger, both of St. Roberts, MO; two 2 step-sons: Chad Meeks of Columbia, TN and Kelly Meeks of Spring Hill, TN. Five 5 grandchildren: Joseph, Dustin, Taylor, Xavier, and Giovanni also survive. Memorial services will be celebrated on Saturday, July 3 at 2:00 PM in the New Lisbon Cemetery in Union City, IN.

My father was a great man, we a sorted past,but we made up and i wish i could have more time with him. He in heaven now lookin down on me everyday saying i hope he get out of that chair and walk again. I will always love him and one day we will see each other again. love you dad,your son.

Dean was a gentle giant. Fun loving, practicle joker just an all around good guy. I will miss him. No more pain big guy, you can go back to being yourself.
