Linda Evans

Everything. The Mother. Mrs. Linda Evans is the epitome of Mothership. Ever since childhood, she always cared about others. Into adulthood, she was connected to the Spirit World. She led a Bible study of the “Girls In Action” at Holiday Heights Baptist Church. She wrote children’s books and had one of them published. She loved writing stories and her thoughts. She also enjoyed reading many kinds of literature. Her greatest accomplishment is the prominent gift of Giving. She would think of her family and even those outside of that before she thought to think about herself. Her compassion is commendable in all of All Heavens in existence.
She loves her family and always loved gathering together. She also loved art creativity. She made every child, grandchild to great-grandchild’s hand-stitched quilts and wardrobes. She was very professional and creative with her approach to sewing. She loves the “I Love Lucy” show and found great entertainment in it. She was also an excellent baker. She loved hosting family gatherings and cooking for her family. Her spirit is bright and that reflected in her wardrobe. Colors Galore! She is a happy spirited soul. Her family will miss her dearly.

Mrs. Linda is preceded in transition by her Son: MSGT Robert Burton, and her Grandson, Eric Michael Rodriguez.

She is succeeded in transition by: Her husband and best friend of 48 years, William David Evans Jr. She married her husband on March 1st, 1985. Mr. David Evans quotes, “If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be who I am today. She helped me to fix my priorities. I have seen the Light. Everything. My Lover. My Best Friend. My Reason for Being.“ Together they traveled the country over the road truck driving for many years and were able to visit so many wonderful places.

She is also survived by her 2 daughters: Tiffany Leanece Evans and Misty Gayle Evans; Her step-daughter, Tracie Lynn Evans; Her grandchildren: La’Mar Marquis Owens, Kayla Lee’Nece Torres, Lynzee Shaw Blanchette, Brandon Jacob Blanchette, Cora Jean Derr, Shalynn Faith Derr, Jaylee Grace Derr, Robert Steven Burton, Stephanie Jacleen Sherwood, and Brooklyn Jade Hopkins.
