Linda Ann Delong

Linda Ann Delong, age 58, of Columbia, passed away at her home on May 13. Linda was born June 9, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of the late Paul and Martha Bollin Collins. She had been a waitress for 25 years at Stan’s Restaurant on Bear Creek Pike in Columbia where she developed many friendships over the years with her customers. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved the ocean. Her favorite times were spent taking her grandchildren shopping. Survivors include her two sons, Charles Oricks of Columbia and Paul Theresa Pegg of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Lauren, Chelsey and Jordan Pegg of Chapel Hill; brothers, Bruce Dan Collins-Miller of St. Louis, MO, David Collins of Terre Haute, IN and sisters, Lori Collins and Paula Collins, also of Terre Haute, IN. A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held Saturday, May 17, at 2:00 P.M. at the Smyrna Church of Christ located at 3201 Smyrna Church Road, Culleoka, TN. Bro. Eddie Rogers will officiate at the service.
