Obituary
Larry Joe “Captain” Williams, age 77, of Nashville, pased away suddenly on Friday, October 25. Larry was formerly the drummer for Hank Williams, Jr., and former owner and operator of Mr. Boo’s Hot Chicken. He was a man of strong Christian faith. He was born September 28, 1936 in Dothan, Alabama, the son of the late Ernest Overton Williams and Lorena Parrish Williams. Currently he was working as a heavy equipment operator. He had served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Larry was the husband of Lydia Diana Roberts Williams of Nashville and they had three daughters, Tiffany, Mechelle and Lisa along with several grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Larry Williams Memorial Fund, 3259 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN 37214 to help with burial expenses.
