Kenneth Ray Steele

Mr. Kenneth Ray Steele, age 62 of Puryear, TN died peacefully Wednesday morning at his residence, surrounded by his family. A native of Owensboro, KY, Kenneth was the son of the late Earsley Lee and Emma Mildred Bratcher Farmer. He was a member of the UAW and was raised in the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Stella Lynn Steele of Puryear; a son: Kenny Jr of Puryear; three sisters: Delores Reams of St. Hedwig, Texas, Joyce Formicola of Michigan and Barbara Ozee of Madisonville, Kentucky; three brothers: David Westerfield of Owensboro, Kentucky, Tommy West of Madisonville, Kentucky, and Howard Dwight Steele Jr. of Detroit, Michigan; and three grandchildren: Amber Holland, Cory Steele, and Kaitlin Steele. The family will conduct private services to celebrate Kenneth’s life, and is being assisted by the Cremation Society of Tennessee.
