Obituary
Joyce Jaudon Weber, Davidson County, died on October 2, 2013 at Summit Hospital in Hermitage, Tennessee. Mrs. Weber was born on March 1, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Thomas Boyd Jaudon and Gaynelle Meals Jaudon Dews. She graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Weber met and married the love of her life, Curt, in 1953. She did clerical work for Baens Engineering and Construction Company in Kansas City for eighteen years before making her home in Bellevue, Nebraska in 1969. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Bridge. She and her husband of forty-six years enjoyed golf and travel. In 2011, Mrs. Weber moved to Tennessee to be cared for by her surviving niece, Jana Jaudon Moore, and beloved great nieces, Melody Ann Moore and Carmen Jaudon Moore of Old Hickory, Tennessee. Always a beauty, the nickname “Miss Hollywood” followed her wherever she went, although she had never acted until, on her 89th birthday, she filmed a commercial for Pal’s Restaurants. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis A. Weber; a brother, Ben Jaudon, and sister-in-law, Virginia Lewis Jaudon. Survivors include a niece, Renee Jaudon Swingle of Tucson, Arizona; a nephew, Mark Jaudon of Kansas City, Missouri; a great-niece, Sarah Shepard Weintrob of Centreville, Virginia; two great-nephews, two great-great nieces, and one great-great nephew. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.

So sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing. She was my aunt by marriage for a few years while married to my uncle Pat Mazza. She kept in touch with my family for many years and I wondered why I did not hear from her at Christmas. My thoughts and prayers for the family
