Joy Mae Barrett

Mrs. Joy Gearon Barrett, age 86 of Brentwood, TN, died Wednesday morning at Cool Springs Place in Franklin, TN. Mrs. Barrett was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN and daughter of the late Walter Clark and Vergie Littrell Bullington. She was a retired dispatcher with the Metro Davidson County Police Department, and affiliated with the Holy Family Catholic Church of Brentwood. Preceding her in death were husbands: Robert John Gearon and Walter Barrett. She is survived by four children: Robert Barry Gearon of Brentwood, TN, Cherry Walker of Brentwood, TN, Kerry Williams of Hermitage, TN, and Misty Flannery of San Diego, CA; 10 grandchildren: Robert Barry Gearon Jr, Erin Walker, Jessica Walker, Vanessa Howard, Jason Hoots, Hollie Cook, Michael Barrett Flannery, Mallorie Joy Flannery, Michelle Austin, and Trace Davis. The Funeral Mass will be conducted Saturday, July 24 at 1:00 PM from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood, TN.
