John Martin Bidle (46) passed away on May 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, adventure, and deep devotion to those he loved.
Born and raised in Michigan, John was a man of many passions and a heart as big as the skies he loved to fly. A licensed pilot, John found joy in the freedom of the open air just as much as he did behind the wheel of a classic car. A true car enthusiast, he especially adored Chevy Camaros and took pride in restoring many vehicles over the years.
John had a deep love for the outdoors. He found peace and excitement in hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time in nature. He was also a league bowler, often sharing laughs and camaraderie at the lanes. Always eager for his next adventure, John brought an infectious enthusiasm to everything he did.
At the center of John's life was his family. He was a devoted husband to Amy Bidle and a loving father to their daughter Melanie, who was truly the apple of his eye; and his beloved dog, Holley. He is survived by his father, Loren Bidle; his brother, David Bidle, and niece Bree; his father-in-law, Don LePard, Sr; and brother-in-law, Donald Lepard, Jr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Ray Bidle, and mother-in-law, Madonna LePard.
John will be remembered as a generous neighbor and loyal friend. Known affectionately as a "big teddy bear," he had a natural ability to make people feel cared for and supported. Whether helping someone in need or simply sharing a warm smile, John’s presence was a gift to all who knew him. His chosen family of close friends will forever cherish the memories made and the kindness he so freely gave.
The family will come together to honor and remember John's vibrant spirit on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the UAW Local 1853 Hall (125 Stephen P Yokich Pkwy, Spring Hill, TN 37174.) The hours are 12 PM to 5PM.
