JoAnne Rocha Dissler

Jo (JoAnne) Rocha Dissler, departed for the otherside on August 13th 2025 while listening to the soothing chants of Gregorian Monks. Her daughter Melissa and family friend Sky were with her when she departed.

Jo was a feisty spirit with a good heart. She loved making friends, talking story, dancing, music, cooking (one of the best cooks and bakers in the universe!), making jewelry and other various crafts. She was a big fan of animals and watching movies.

Jo was in healthcare for many years and helped take care of countless people. Jo would always help others in any way she could and had a very loving heart. She had a good, if not sometimes naughty, sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was a hard worker and did whatever it took to take care of her children no matter how hard it was. She was a good mother, a good friend and over all a good person.

She is survived by her son, Daniel W Dissler, Jr and her daughter Melissa Dissler with spouse Robbie McDonald, Mother B Rocha, and brothers Lawrence, Frank and Ryan Rocha, Aunt Audrey Rocha-Reed w/ spouse Carlos H, and 3 nephews.

She follows her father (Tutuman) and sister Carlotta to the other side. She also leaves behind 5 furbabies (cats) that she adored and who absolutely adored their granny.

Jo is already greatly missed by many but now she is free from what kept her tethered to this plane of existence and has reverted back to pure energy. Her soul is free. I dont think my mother would wanted us to mourn her passing but she'd want us to find solace and joy in her new found freedom. Aloha oe, Māmā.
