Jimmie Revere Davis, Sr.

Jimmie Revere Davis, Sr., was born December 30, 1942 in St. Petersburg, Fl, the son of the late Paul Revere Davis and Thelma Marie Hadsock Davis. Jimmie had worked as a mechanic in the automotive industry. During the 1960s he served his country in the U.S. Army. When his children were small, they enjoyed building race cars with their father. Survivors include his children, Carl Desarae davis of McEwen, Jimmie Davis, Jr., of Fairview and Lydia Marie Trachtenberg of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Logan Lee Davis, Jaylee Nicole Davis, Crystal Trachtenberg, Michael Trachtenberg, Jimmie Davis, III and Timmy Haynes along with one brother, Paul R. Davis, Jr., of Florida. Jimmie passed away on Monday, January 7, at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. The family will celebrate Jimmie’s life on Saturday, January 12, at 10:00 A.M. at the Moose Lodge in Dickson, located at 101 Oak Park Drive.
