Jimmie Calvin Jones

Jimmie Calvin Jones, 67, passed away in his home on July 26, 2022 in Christiana, Tennessee.

Jimmie was born on November 20, 1954 in Texas to the late Wade Calvin Jones and Betty Goodwin Jones.

Jimmie dedicated most of his life to sports, especially baseball. Baseball was so important to Jimmie. He had the honor of being the sports photographer for Vanderbilt University Baseball Team for nine years. Jimmie also enjoyed western movies and books. He thought about how nice sometimes it would be to be a cowboy.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother: Terry Jones.

Jimmie is survived by his children: Katelynn Jones, Newt Jones, Sara Pezonni, Josh Jones, Melea Hopkins, Cody Blair, Joe Blair, and Marie Haygood;  and exwife: LaShawna Jones.
