James Thomas Carroll, 74, passed away on November 8, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born in Palmersville, Tennessee, James carried the values of his small-town roots throughout his life—kindness, humility, and quiet strength.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lilly Mae Carroll, whom he loved and spoke of often. James is survived by his son, Jimmy Carroll; his daughters, Alberta Carroll and Sara Carroll; and his brother, Ricky Carroll. His family will remember him for his steady presence, and the love he showed in both simple moments and significant ones.
