  1. Jackie was one of the few people who accepted me for whatever I was. Through huge mistakes and great successes Jackie and Dan always gave me a place to be, ear when I needed it, and supported the idea that I’d figure it out on my own. I remember her smile, laugh and humor. I’ve always idolized Jackie and Dans relationship because it just worked when none of the others around me did. At first I said “I wish I knew Jackie better”, but honestly the Jackie I knew was enough to help me fix my mistakes and strive for my dreams… I probably didn’t know Jackie as deeply as others, but I don’t need to, I knew enough about her to call her my aunt and knew enough to know life will be different now.
