Hester Emanuel Lockridge, Sr.

Hester Emanuel Lockridge, Sr., was born August 14, 1945 in Hamilton, AL, the son of the late Richie Hester Lockridge and Lula Mae Wilson Lockridge. Hester had served in the U.S. Army. He was a chef and had worked in food service all of his life. Survivors include his children, Kristell Lockridge of Christiana, TN, Derek Lockridge of Clinton, MD and Hester Emanuel Lockridge, Jr., of Tiptonville, TN; grandchildren, Lauren Catherine Lockridge, Weldon Davis Lockridge, Gabriel Emanuel Lockridge, Kelsea Barnes, Jessie Lockridge and Constance Lockridge; one sister, Geraldean Moon of Washington, DC along with the entire Sutton and Lockridge families as well as a host of other friends and family. Mr. Lockridge passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012, at the Alvin C. York Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro.
