  1. Memories of Herschel Buster go back more than 60 years ago to Moberly, MO. Herschel was “little brother” and adorable I must say of my best friend, Linda. Linda was my Maid of Honor at our wedding. My most vivid memories of our friendship were at the Coates Street Presbyterian church that we attended. I spent many nights at the Thompson home. Through the years I have kept in touch with Linda and she has shared many heartwarming stories of “Buster.” My deepest sympathy to all the family. Love, Phyllis Daly

  2. To Herschel’s Immediate Family, Even as a young man Herschel Busterwas kind, compassionate and full of an effervescent type of charm and energy. Family visits in Missouri were all the more special whenever Buster was around. I am so glad I got to visit with him on the phone last week. He was a gift who made the world a better place. I am so sorry for your loss. Susan Harding Herschel’s 2nd cousin…Vera and Floren Thompson’s granddaughter
