George Parson Bennett

George Parson Bennett was born September 29, 1934 in Peoria, IL, the son of Jesse Paul Bennett and Comentha Harriet Hopkins Bennett. George was an Air Force Veteran and loved working with wood. He especially enjoyed making clocks. George was a mechanic and was a member of the Midland Baptist Church in Bell Buckle. He is survived by his wife, Debra Gail Trantham Bennett of Bell Buckle; his children, Mark Angie Edward Bennett of Pekin, IL, George Michael Bennett of Springlake, IL, Teresa Gail Kevin Humphreys of Pekin, IL, Daniel Rae Bennett of MO, and his in-laws, Lee and Mary Trantham, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren along with his beloved dogs, Max and Mia. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jesse Paul Bennett. George passed away on November 25 at the V.A. Hospital in Nashville. The Cremation Society of TN is assisting the family with their arrangements.
