Obituary

Mrs. Frederick Franklin Foster, II, of Seymour, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Fred was born April 4, 1931 in Knoxville, the son of the late Frederick F. and Sophia Dance Foster. He was an electronic tester for Martin-Marietta. Fred was married for 38 years to his dear wife, Linda. He had built their home in Seymour, which had taken much of his free time. Fred enjoyed gardening but his greatest joy was being with his family. He had served in the United States Army from 1951-1953. Survivors in addition to Linda include his children, Erick Foster, James Foster, Fred Foster and Laura Bruce; grandchildren, Charissa Brigham, Bella Foster, and Justin Bruce; great-grandchildren, Noelle and Evan Brigham; two sisters, Barbara Johnson and June Dempsey and two brothers, Guy Childress and Dave Foster.
