Obituary

Born on July 17, 1921, Hebbardsville KY and died on October 4, 2017 in Nashville TN.

Preceded in death by parents, Ollie and Irene Hazelwood, brothers Archie (Jeanette), Owensboro KY, brother, Arnold (Martha), husband of 24 years, John R. Flynn and husband of 15 years Vincent J Johnson. Survived by two brothers, Hugh (Patricia), Henderson KY, Larry (Suzie) Henderson KY and one sister, Thelma (Ronald), Henderson KY, eight grandchildren, and 62 nieces and nephews.

Evelyn graduated from Hebbardsville High School 1940, Lockyear Business College, Evansville IN, 1942, with special studies at Evansville University and University of Tennessee.

She was a bookkeeper and associate manager, Gold Label Paint, Henderson KY for 9 years. She was financial secretary at Edgefield Baptist Church, Nashville for 3 years and First Baptist Church Nashville for 25 years. She owned and operated Hermitage Pencil Company 1965-1986.

Memorial service at 11:00 am, November 29 at First Baptist Church, Nashville with family visitation at 10:00 am.
