Eugene Whitaker

Eugene Whitaker, age 75 of Smyrna, TN, died Tuesday morning at teh Mayfield Rehab and Nursing Center in Smyrna, TN. He was a native of Hill House, MS and son of the late Lawrence Brantley and May Ethel Lewis Whitaker, and retired from Metro Nashville Health Department. Mr. Whitaker is survived by 3 sons: Terry Whitaker of Nashville, TN, Keith Whitaker of Talledega, AL, and Scott Whitaker of Rockwood, TN; two sisters: Ethel Whitaker of Crossett, AR, and Helen Osborne of AR; a brother: Lawrence Whitaker of OK; and 7 grandchildren. The family will celebrate Mr. Whitaker’s life with close friends at a later date.
