Ernest Sweeney Eppes, Sr.

Mr. Ernest Sweeney Eppes, Sr., age 73 of Bon Aqua, TN, died Sunday evening, June 19, 2011 at his residence. A native of Frankln, TN, he was the son of the late Fred and Rose Moss Eppes. He was self employed as a diesel mechanic and a member of the Baptist Church, and served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by a son: Ernest Darrell Eppes. Ernest is survived by his wife: Norene Eppes of Bon Aqua, TN; three sons: Danny Eppes, Jimmy Dale Eppes, and Ernest Sweeney Eppes, Jr. all of Nashville; three daughters: Cindy, Sherry and Misty all of Nashville; a sister: Irene of Centerville; a brother: J.T. of Nashville; four step-children: Bennie Ramer of Nashville, Joann Patterson of Eagleville, and Sharon Pilgrim of Lyles, and Lori Sampson of Shelbyville; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will celebrate his life on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 4:00 PM from the James Avenue Church of Christ in Nashville. The celebration will be officiated by Bro. Skip Abbott.
