Obituary

Emily Bennett, age 83, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Esma, her sister Margaret, and her brothers Stanley, Frank, Bobby, Horace, and Charles.

Emily is survived by innumerable nieces, nephews, and friends.

Emily had an extensive career at Ernst and Young Accounting firm, starting as an executive assistant and ending as a location manager at the time of her retirement after 31 years.

Her retirement years were filled with part-time work at Gilda’s Club, travels with her nephew Jamie, and making new friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on  June 10 at New Hope Community Church, 605 Wilson Pike, Brentwood, TN 37027. There will be a short service at Noon, followed by visitation and food until 2 pm.
