Elizabeth Melette Petty

Elizaeth Melette Petty, age 41, of Cumberland Furance, TN, pased away on Thursday, July 16, at her residence. Elizabeth was born October 27, 1971 in Burlington, NC to the late Cecil Blackmon, Jr., and Karen Cates Blackmon. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jace Petty. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Jerry Petty; son, Dalton Petty; two daughters, Annamarie Petty and Grace Petty, all of Cumberland Furance; and a sister, Melinda LaPrad of Randleman, NC. Elizabeth was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and was self-employed in medical biling. The family will celebrate Elizabeth’s life with a memorial service on Saturday, July 20, at 1:00 P.M. at the Gum Springs Baptist Church in Cunningham, TN.
