The family of Dychie Dewayne Turner takes comfort in knowing he has joined his beloved wife Carolyn. He was the glue that held our family together. He loved Turner Ranch which has been in the family for 110 years. He would not miss an opportunity to watch his children or grandchildren play sports. Old Westerns were his favorite! He served our country in the Army during WWII and worked as a Production Supervisor for Kerr McGee oil for 30 years. Whether you knew him as Dewayne, Dychie, Daddy, Grandpa, Papa or Big D, you know he was a man that loved his family, ranch and always had a kind word for anyone he met. Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. The moment that you left me my heart split in two, one side was filled with memories, the other side died with you. I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday, but missing you is a heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain, you see life has gone on without you, but will never be the same.
