Douglas William “Doug” Berry, Sr.

Douglas William Berry, Sr., age 62, of Decaturville, Tennessee passed away on August 24, 2018 at his residence.

Douglas was born on July 2, 1956, in Newark, New Jersey, to Mickey Betty and Dorothy Goodstone Hartley. He worked in security until he became disabled. He was married to Angela “Angie” Messina Berry. He was an all-around good guy, who would do anything for you. He loved his family greatly. He loved Snoopy and Charlie Brown.

Douglas is survived by his wife: Angie Berry; children: Samuel Berry, Douglas Berry, Jr., Kristine Tyrone, Chelsea Berry and Michelle Berry; grandchildren: Carly Odom, Annalissa Berry, Zachary Berry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mickey Berry and Dorothy Goodstone Hartley.

The family will celebrate Douglas’ life with a memorial service at a later date.
