Obituary

Dawn Marlene Erb, age 60, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Dawn was born on April 6, 1955 to Thomas Watts and Shirley Sheddan Watts in Elmira, New York. She was married to Richard “Rick” Erb for twenty-two wonderful years. She was a daycare provider for over 17 years, serving up to twenty-two children at a time. She was a well loved woman by all she came in contact with. She was considered a church mother by her church family at Center of Hope in Murfreesboro. Everyone called her Miss Sue, even the grown-ups, as a show of their respect and affection for her.

Dawn is survived by her husband: Rick Erb, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sons: Michael (Heather) Winters, Timothy (Alicia) Winters and Christopher James (Susan) Winters; 5 grandchildren; and brother: Leon Watts.

A life celebration service will held for Mrs. Erb on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Center of Hope Christian Church, 4745 Leanna Road in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with Pastor Ronnie Jenkins and her husband Rick Erb officiating.
