David Nunnally

David Nunnally, age 90, resident of Hampshire, passed away on September 5, 2025 at NHC Health Care Columbia after a short illness.

David was born September 13, in Memphis, TN, the son of the late James Nunnally and Martha Ambrose Nunnally. On September 8, 1956, he was married to Judith Jones Nunnally, and together they raised 5 children.

After a long career teaching biology at Vanderbilt University, David and Judith retired to Hampshire, TN. There, he continued his lifelong passion of crafting fine furniture and keeping track of major league baseball and his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. They also became well-known and recognized customers at a number of restaurants and cafes in the region.

Survivors include, three sons, Patrick (Elizabeth) Nunnally, James (Janis) Nunnally and Andrew Nunnally; two daughters, Elisa (Randall) Wang and Mary (James) Seaman; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; his sister, Alice McGuire, of Marietta GA, along with several nieces and nephews.
