David Kenneth Miller

On May 23, 2013, I lost the most important Man in my Life. My Father, David Kenneth Miller, was one of the most amazing people that I will ever know. We’ve had our ups and downs, as all Families have. He made his share of mistakes along the way, but in the end my Father was Loving, Caring, Compassionate and Super Human Strong. He has been challenged by Lymphoma, several severe Heart Attacks, Congestive Heart Failure, Open Heart Surgery and COPD, among many others. My Father was a Fighter with a passion for Living and Surviving that I had never seen before. He found a Wonderful relationship with God, which gave him the Strength to keep trying. He had endless Love for his Family Wife – Sandy Miller, Daughter – Kathleen Miller, Daughter – Tracy Ashcroft, Granddaughter – Alyssa Ashcroft. He was a Joker, always trying to make people laugh. Even is his last few days, he was constantly making the Hospital staff laugh and smile. He had a huge Heart, even as weak it as it was. He donated hard earned money out of every paycheck to multiple different charities and cared very much about helping people to the best of his ability. My Father made all of my opportunities possible and I am Forever Thankful to him for that. I owe him so much and I hate that he was taken from us so soon. However, he was suffering on a daily basis. Now he is free from pain, living exactly as he’s always wanted to In the Florida Keys, drinking a Cold Beer and listening to the Beach Boys. If there is one thing I wish that I could say to my Father again, it would be Thank You. For all of my Life Lessons, for all that you were, all that you wanted to be and all that you are to me. I Love you Daddy. Thank you for giving us the Strength and Courage to press on. I know that you’re watching over us from Heaven, and we will all see you again one day. You are My Rock, My Heart, My Dad. *Death leaves a Heartache no one can Heal, Love leaves a Memory no one can Steal* Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Isaiah 57:1-2
Good people pass away; The Godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from all of the evil to come. For those who follow Godly paths will rest in peace when they die.
