Obituary

David Conrad Sharp passed away on Nov. 1, 2011 at Skyline Medical Center in Madison, TN. Mr. Sharp was the son of the late Oakes Woodrow Sharp and Mary Elizabeth Bandy Sharp. He was born on March 17, 1940 in Bunkie, LA. He was married to the late Margaret Sharp and was the father of two children: Michael Sheila Sharp of Murfreesboro, TN and Ronnie Brenda Sharp of Owensboro, KY. Mr. Sharp had graduated from Louisiana Polytechnic Institute Louisiana Tech University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a retired minister from the Green Hill Baptist Church. He is remembered by his family as a loving father, brother, grandfather and a generous friend. In addition to his children, Mr. Sharp is survived by his grandchildren: Nathan West, Abby West, and Daniel Sharp. He is also survived by one sister, Carol A Sharp Trotter, one niece, two nephews, and six great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Woodland Presbyterian Church, 2889 Military Highway, Pineville, LA 71360 on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. The family will visit with friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family with the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cremationsocietyoftn.com.

He left us all many wonderful memories that will never die. I know you feel comfort by knowing he is with our Lord, and by the many prayers of family and friends.
