Clark Arden Ekleberry, age 83, passed away on December 7, 2025, at NHC–Maury Transitional Care in Columbia, Tennessee. He was born on February 15, 1942, to the late Hollice Clark Ekleberry and Lucille Hand Ekleberry.
Clark retired from General Plug & Manufacturing, dedicating many years to his work before beginning a new chapter of life in Ocala, Florida, where he shared a loving home with his beloved wife, Shirley Mae Ekleberry, until her passing in 2017. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, partnership, and devotion.
An avid sports enthusiast, Clark rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his grandchildren. He proudly supported them in every game, match, and event, finding great joy in their achievements and activities. His presence in the stands will always be remembered.
Clark is survived by his children, Allen Clark Ekleberry (Rita) and Susan Kokoski; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ekleberry, Timothy Ekleberry, Bethany Masingale (Austin), Kimberly Frish (Jacob), and MacKenzie Kokoski; his great-grandchildren, Gregory Glover, Timothy Ekleberry Jr., Aiden Ekleberry, Haven Frish, August Frish, and Archie Masingale; and his sister, Nancy Reed.
In addition to his wife, Shirley Ekleberry, and parents, Hollice Clark Ekleberry and Lucille Hand Ekleberry, Clark is preceded in death by his sisters, Sally Rubis, Patty Fink, and Sue Hottenrott.
Clark will be remembered for his steadfast love for family, his dedication to those he cherished, and the pride he carried for each generation that followed him. His legacy of support, kindness, and loyalty lives on in all who knew and loved him.
